Autumn is officially hither, and I don't know near y'all – merely this is the beginning of soup & stew flavour for me.  And, what's ameliorate than a big, hearty bowl full of beefiness stew.

Emeril Lagasse, eat your center out – BAM!

Run into all those colors?  Yous tin almost inhale the richness of the stew just by looking at the photograph.  Seriously, ya'll.  Information technology's amazing.  Addictive,  and amazing.  One time you get in, you won't be able to go back to any other recipe.

I apply beef demi-glace in this recipe, which you can find online here if you aren't certain if your local shop has it.  The demi glace adds and so much flavor to the stew; one that your traditional beef broth or stock really can't vanquish.  Nevertheless; if you don't want to buy demi-glace and don't have whatsoever on mitt – yous can substitute some Swanson Season Boost edit: It seems as if many of you can no longer find the Swanson Flavor Boost. If you tin can't find beef demi-slippery, then yous can substitute Meliorate than Bouillon in Beef.

It starts off with a nice blanket of flour & seasoning salt on the stew meat & and then it gets seared off in a pan before getting placed in the slowcooker.  The onions are as well added to the skillet, and so the whole thing is deglazed with some of the liquid in the recipe.  Later on, information technology cooks all day on low in your slowcooker…and fills your whole house with some pretty astonishing smells.

Which reminds me – when making this stew, please lock your doors.  Deadbolt them too. Your neighbors may only flare-up right in and try stealing your stew. If you don't follow my advice & leave your doors unlocked – don't blame me when you fall victim to stew-lifting.

Yous unmarried gals out there.  Looking for a married man?  This stew is your secret weapon.  And so, make you lot a big ol' pot of it & starting time shopping for that wedding ceremony gown.
